Arrow Stage Lines focuses a relentless passion to continually be a leader in the charter bus and transportation industry. More recently Arrow Stage Lines has elevated another focal point; helping secure a stronger future for our world.
Arrow Stage Lines is well-known for sticking to the road. In fact, that is where Arrow Stage Lines does 100% of its work. Providing award-winning, safe, on-time charter bus service for clients, is the cornerstone of the company’s service. So why would a charter bus company be talking about water?
The answer is simple. Arrow Stage Lines believes organizations, companies and businesses have a duty to give back and help create a sustainable future for us all. In 2016, Arrow Stage Lines rallied around the idea of creating the Hero Project. The vision of the project was aimed at helping create a positive global impact. The Hero Project, focused on helping provide a better quality of life for those less fortunate, selected Charity Water, an international nonprofit organization, as the 2016 charity of choice for the Hero Project.
“Our future is so important, and we feel we have an obligation to help impact our world for a better future,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ COO, Luke Busskohl. “The Hero Project is just one, very important, initiative we have in place here at Arrow.”
Charity Water uses abundant resources to help bring water to those without access. Shockingly, a massive population of women, children and families are living with limited access to life’s most necessary need, water.
The Hero Project does its part with the help of Arrow Stage Lines’ customers. Each time an Arrow Stage Lines charter bus is booked, Arrow Stage Lines donates a portion of funds to the Hero Project. In September, Arrow Stage Lines donated over $2,400 to the Hero Project. To date, the Hero Project has raised over $16,000 to help fight the world water crisis. This is all thanks to Arrow Stage Lines’ customers.
“I cannot imagine having to choose life or death based on the ability to get water,” said Arrow Stage Lines CEO, Steve Busskohl. “I am so pleased, with the help or our customers, we can help create change, and save lives.”
Hero Project funds have been put to work in Uganda, a region rebounding after two decades of civil war. Uganda has a national population of roughly 37 million people with 19.5% of them living below the poverty line. Hero Project funds were used to impact rural areas where the lack of sanitation is around 83% and 24% of the population lack access to water. Learn more about the impact.
The Arrow Stage Lines Hero Project is only successful because of the company’s amazing customers who choose to experience confidence with their charter bus service.
Arrow Stage Lines has opened phase 3 of the Hero Project for private donations. If you would like to contribute to the cause, please click here, or charter your next trip with Arrow Stage Lines and know that a donation will be made to help impact positive global change.
