Arrow Stage Lines was proud to be chosen to provide transportation for our nations troops in a long transport of personnel across the country. 29 Arrow Stage Lines’ motorcoaches traveled nearly a combined 82,000 miles from Ft. Riley, KS to Irwin, CA. Each overnight charter bus schedule required multiple drivers to ensure safety, and comfort for all passengers. Over 1,400 brave personnel were on these 29 motorcoaches.
“We are proud to be chosen to be apart of such a significant move” said Arrow Stage Lines’ President and CEO, Steve Busskohl. “Our operations, maintenance, and driver team had to come together to make this move even possible, and I am proud of every one of them for the hard work and sacrifices made to make this happen.”
This required multiple resources from nearly every one of the company’s 13 nationwide locations. This project included 49 drivers from 9 different Arrow Stage Lines’ locations. These drivers performed over 68 motorcoach exchanges without any issues or delays in service.
“Quality maintenance and preventative initiatives are what set Arrow Stage Lines apart” said Director of Maintenance, Gene Wordekemper, “We take every measure possible to make sure that every bus that leaves our lots are mechanically sound and will preform well on the road.”
On-time performance was crucial. Each motorcoach was early to each scheduled departure at Ft. Riley, KS. Arrow Stage Lines, the only company in the nation to offer an on-time promise, conducted the schedule with accuracy.
Arrow Stage Lines has provided more than just military charter bus service in the past. The company has been trusted to provide motorcoach service to the Secret Service, high-profile political personnel, and is often trusted to provide relief in times of crisis were transportation is necessary.
