Arrow Stage Lines focuses a passion to be a leader in the charter bus industry. More recently Arrow Stage Lines has elevated another focal point; helping secure a stronger future for our world.
In early 2016, Arrow Stage Lines introduced the Hero Project to its staff and customers. This project was aimed at producing a way to a stronger world in which we live in. The way Arrow has done this is through Charity Water. Charity Water is a group of passionate and determined, creative problem-solvers who want to make a difference. Their mission is to bring clean and safe drinking water to every person in the world.
Nearly 663 million people around the world go without clean water. That equates to roughly 1 in 10 people worldwide struggle to find one of life’s most basic needs. The water that is available often carries diseases that lead to death.
Since the Hero Projects conception on March 22, 2016, Arrow has donated over $22,000 to Charity Water. Thanks to the customers of Arrow Stage Lines, this has helped thousands of men, women, and children in Uganda daily.
“I am astounded at the impact we are having with helping provide clean water in Uganda.” said Arrow Stage Lines COO, Luke Busskohl. “With the help from our customers and Charity Water, we have been able to make this dream a reality, and I could not be more proud to be apart of it.”
Arrow Stage Lines’ customers play the largest role in the company’s Hero Project. When any customer charters a motorcoach with Arrow Stage Lines, the company automatically sets aside funds to be donated.
Charity Water uses abundant resources to help bring water to those without access. Shockingly, a massive population of women, children and families are living with limited access to life’s most necessary need, water.
“Being able to drink clean water is something that we think as normal, but that certainly is not true throughout our world.” said Arrow Stage Lines CEO, Steve Busskohl. “I am so thankful to our customers for helping us provide such great funds to donate to such a great cause.”
Hero Project funds have been put to work in Uganda, a region rebounding after two decades of civil war. Uganda has a national population of roughly 37 million people with 19.5% of them living below the poverty line. Hero Project funds were used to impact rural areas where the lack of sanitation is around 83% and 24% of the population lack access to water. Learn more about the impact.
The Arrow Stage Lines Hero Project is only successful because of the company’s amazing customers who choose to experience confidence with their charter bus service.
