Arrow Stage Lines was proud to be a part of the press release today in Omaha at the Century Link Center. The American Bus Association (ABA) announced Omaha, Nebraska, as the site for the 2020 ABA Annual Meeting & Marketplace. This is the first time that ABA has come to Nebraska. The meeting will welcome over 3500 tour and motorcoach operators from all over the country.
Omaha was an easy choice for the ABA board to choose as a meeting place noting the proximity to all major cities in the Midwest. Omaha is a growing city with many large companies based there, along with a lot of tourist attractions many people are unaware of. Having such a large turnout of tour operators and motorcoach companies come to the Omaha area will help provide an increased awareness of what the city has to offer and it will provide a large increase in tourism not only for Omaha, but the state of Nebraska as a whole.
In attendance at the press release, among others, was ABA President and CEO Peter Pantuso, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts, and Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert.
“We are proud to have been a part of this press conference which released the exciting news for the city of Omaha and ABA,” said Arrow Stage Lines COO, Luke Busskohl. “This is a big event for the city of Omaha, and all of us here at our Arrow – Omaha location are excited to show everyone our great city.”
There are many annual events such as the College World Series and the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting which bring in thousands every year to the Omaha area. Another great attraction that Omaha has to offer is the Henry Doorly Zoo which has been ranked as one of the best zoo’s in the world.
Arrow has been a member of ABA for many years and have been attending the annual meetings for a long time. The annual meetings are an exciting time for the tour and motorcoach operators to get together and converge on many different issues, innovations, and future plans for the tour and travel business.
The dates of the 2020 Marketplace will be Jan. 10-14, 2020.
